Procurement opportunities are published on the AERA website and, where applicable, in newspapers and other approved communication channels in accordance with the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act
Who is eligible to participate in AERA procurement
Any individual, company or organization that meets the eligibility and qualification requirements stated in the bidding documents may participate in AERA procurement processes
Where can I obtain bidding documents
Bidding documents can be obtained as specified in the procurement notice. Instructions on collection, download or purchase are provided in each advertisement
Can I submit my bid after the closing date
No. Bids received after the stated closing date and time are not accepted and will be handled in accordance with the applicable procurement procedures
How are successful bidders selected
Bids are evaluated against the criteria specified in the bidding documents. Contracts are awarded to the responsive bidder offering the best evaluated bid in accordance with procurement laws
Can I seek clarification before submitting my bid
Yes. Bidders may request clarification within the period specified in the bidding documents. AERA responds in accordance with the applicable procurement procedures
How will I know if my bid was successful
Successful bidders are formally notified after completion of the evaluation and approval process. Procurement results may also be published where required by law
